Our Limited Edition 'Bagaso Plata' pushes boundaries while honoring the roots of traditional agave destillation. After extraction, the bagaso-crushed agave fibers-were reintroduced into the open-air fermentation tanks. By letting the agave fibers participate in the ferment, an added layer of depth, vegetal richness, and unmistakable mouthfeel were coaxed out.

This Limited Edition Añejo is a study in patience and curiosity. Born from Alma Joven, it begins with Still Strength Blanco rested in glass for 8 months, blended with 10-month bourbon barrel-aged Reposado. That blend was distinctive—but we pushed further. Our favorite barrels were refilled and began aging again, inviting the wood to deepen the story.

Eight month glass aged still strength Blanco blended with Eleven month KY bourbon barrel Reposado. The Joven blend was rested back in the KY bourbon barrels for Fourteen months.

Crafted from a single run of estate-grown agave from the Valley of Amatitán, this unique joven undergoes simultaneous aging in both 20L glass jars and 200L used bourbon barrels before being blended and proofed to 50% ABV with deep well water. The result is a tequila with remarkable concentration and depth, where high proof amplifies every nuance.

Almatitán is proudly additive-free, reflecting the Sandoval family’s commitment to keeping the tequila as natural and authentic as possible. Glass aging, a largely forgotten historical technique, is also employed to enhance the tequila’s complexity while allowing the agave’s character to shine through.
